CONCRETE PAVING FOREMAN
The Concrete Paving Foreman (PF) will supervise the concrete paving crew in construction of high quality concrete pavements on project(s) in IHC’s Midwest Division which operates in Owosso, MI. The PF will be responsible for achieving optimum utilization of the equipment, material and labor, thus, maximizing production and minimizing costs in the area of assigned responsibility. All of this is to be accomplished in conjunction with practicing ethical business transactions, adhering to the corporate policies, values and beliefs while pursuing the company’s short and long range goals. An in-depth knowledge of all contractual requirements, plans and specification will be required. Must understand all safety and quality requirements and be able to ensure crews are trained to perform high quality work. The PF will work cooperatively with all other IHC operations in the production and placement of high performing concrete pavement. The PF is also responsible for the training and performance of all assigned subordinates on the paving crew.

EQUIPMENT FOREMAN
Maintain and manage the division’s assigned equipment fleet to produce a maximum return on investment by furnishing the highest production and lowest cost equipment to the Division. This is to be accomplished by managing and following the goals and objectives, guidelines and requirements as outlined in the Equipment Section of the Operations Manual.
Responsibilities will include management of IHC’s preventative maintenance program, material ordering and logistics management, management of all on and off site repairs for assigned pieces of equipment, technical trouble shooting and oversight of concrete plant/paving spread and supporting pieces. Applicant must have an in-depth knowledge of construction equipment, strong mechanical aptitude and extensive experience with heavy highway construction. Will be expected to achieve optimum utilization of all assigned resources in order to maximize production and minimize costs while overseeing quality work in a safe environment.
