The Michigan Department of Transportation is looking for a Transportation Technician to help assist the Construction Engineer with administration of construction projects. The person in this position will be responsible for training lower-level transportation technicians in construction engineering activities. This role also performs quality assurance duties as a lead worker on complex projects. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in concrete technology, civil technology, construction technology, surveying technology, construction management, mathematics, or computer science
  • 3 years of experience equivalent to a Transportation Technician
  • Pre-employment physical and drug screens
